- Pin 1 Right
- Pin 2 GND
- Pin 3 GND
- Pin 4 Left
Mono:
A few years ago, I read this post. I replied in the comments.

However back then I didn't notice I was asked back a few things. Since I can no longer reply at jamma arcade's comments section, I rather reply here in hopes that someone that does a search will find this post as well.
Yes, they are wired like contra 1 to 2 and 3 to 4.Yves M says:
I’ve updated my post with your information. Does the connector on Trigon and Parodius is originally wired like Contra ? (pin #1 wired to #2 and pin #3 wired to #4)
I soldered the connector and tested it. It outputs through the 13 pin connector as the manual states. Pin 1 and Pin 3 have the audio signals, however pin 1 has a DC offset and pin 3 doesn't. Works perfectly in stereo and tested with 4 ohm speakers. Using the factory provided 1 to 2 and 3 to 4 adapter, seems only Contra has the issue. There is a picture online of a Jackal PCB (same game than Top Gunner) with the stereo connector soldered: http://www.tvspels-nostalgi.com/Bilder/ ... al_pcb.jpg
Curious to see if stereo is working with or without modification on that one.
